Longtime NBC PR exec Joe Schlosser is moving to Shine America.
Schlosser will serve as senior VP of communications for the News Corp. unit. He’ll oversee Shine America’s corporate branding, trade and consumer media relations, programming publicity, events and talent relations. He’ll also serve as the communications liaison with the PR team at London-based parent company Shine Group.
“Joe is one of the most respected PR executives in the business and we are thrilled for him to join Shine America,” said Shine America CEO Carl Fennessy. “His extensive experience in all facets of communications will be invaluable as we elevate the corporate profile of Shine America, our slate of programs and their consumer products.”
Schlosser has spent the past decade at the Peacock, most recently as senior VP of communications for NBC Entertainment TV Publicity.
Before moving into PR, Schlosser was L.A. bureau chief for Broadcasting & Cable.
Shine America is home to the former Reveille banner. It’s active series roster includes “The Office,” “MasterChef” and “The Biggest Loser.”
