Fremantle, Fuji TV pair up

Will produce formats, promote each other's shows

FremantleMedia Asia and Japanese commercial broadcaster Fuji TV have pacted to co-develop, co-produce and roll out new TV formats while also promoting each other’s existing formats in Asia.

The deal expands on the Creative Exchange Alliance, a work exchange among the companies’ top creative staff, which developed “Total Blackout,” a half-hour gamer in which contestants complete challenges in utter darkness. The widely sold format airs on Syfy in the U.S.
