Fox, Bravo back for more food skeins

'Kitchen Nightmares,' 'Top Chef' get new seasons

America is ready for second helpings of some of its favorite unscripted culinary shows.

Fox ordered a fifth season of “Kitchen Nightmares” while Bravo added a 10th season of “Top Chef” to its tab.

“Nightmares,” which currently runs Fridays at 8 p.m., is one of three unscripted Fox series featuring culinary celeb Gordon Ramsay, who also fronts “Hell’s Kitchen” and “MasterChef.”

“Kitchen” is a co-production of ITV Studios America and Optomen in association with A. Smith & Co. Prods. Arthur Smith, Kent Weed, Patricia Llewellyn and Gordon Ramsay serve as executive producers.

Bravo announced a new round of auditions taking place in cities across the country beginning Feb. 21 but not the host city for the 10th season. The ninth season won the Emmy for best reality competition series in 2010.

“Top Chef” is produced by Magical Elves, with executive producers Dan Cutforth and Jane Lipsitz.
