EOne, Landscape ink first-look deal

Duo to develop scripted projects for U.S., int'l markets

Entertainment One Television announced on Monday a new first-look TV deal with producer Bob Cooper’s production company Landscape Entertainment to develop new scripted projects for U.S. an international markets. EOne will serve as studio, deficit financier and handle worldwide distribution for shows that come out of the pact.

Cooper will add a new TV development executive to his team, which includes a current head of Feature Films, Tyler Mitchell. Landscape, which has projects in development for A&E, TNT, USA and HBO, will be based out of eOne’s Los Angeles offices. EOne shows include “Rookie Blue” on ABC, “Call Me Fitz” on DirecTV and HBO Canada, “Peppa Pig” on Nick Jr., “The Walking Dead” and “Hell on Wheels” on AMC, “Mary Mary” on WeTV and the upcoming “Saving Hope” on NBC.
