“How I Met Your Mother” vet Chuck Tatham has inked a two-year overall deal with 20th Century Fox TV.
The pact keeps Tatham on “HIMYM” as an exec producer and also calls for him to develop new projects for the studio.
Tatham has been in biz with 20th TV since he began on “Arrested Development” in the 2005-06 season. He joined “HIMYM” in 2008.
Jonathan Davis, 20th’s exec veep of comedy development and animation, praised Tatham as an inventive writer.
Tatham’s pitches are “never down the middle,” Davis said. “When you look at your (writer) roster and say, ‘Who is poised to have the next big hit?’ Chuck is certainly at the front of the line for that with his unique voice in comedy.”
Tatham is represented by WME, manager Evan Weiss of the Collective and attorney Shep Rosenman of Katz Golden Rosenman.
