‘Bethenny’ gets six weeks on Fox O&O’s

'Real Housewife' starrer still alive and kicking

Miami– “Real Housewives of New York” co-star Bethenny Frankel might just get that talk show yet. Fox Television Stations and Warner Bros. are set to roll out a six-week preview of syndie yakker “Bethenny,” with Ellen De Generes as exec producer alongside Frankel.

The deal was announced during the second day of TV industry confab NATPE, where talk shows including “Steve Harvey,” “Jeff Probst,” “Katie,” and “The Ricki Lake Show” are battling for holes in the daytime syndie sked.

The hourlong show will be produced by Telepictures and stripped five days a week; the six-week test will be available this summer on Fox O&O’s in markets including Gotham and L.A. “Bethenny is a lightning rod,” said Fox stations prexy Frank Cicha, “and from a marketing standpoint, we love the idea of her hit reality series dovetailing into this test.”

Season three of Bravo’s Frankel-focused “Housewives” spinoff “Bethenny” is skedded to begin Monday, Feb. 20.
