Insiders: Exec shuffles

Nickelodeon has appointed Bronwen O’Keefe senior veep of its new on-air and online brand NickMom. O’Keefe has been with the kidvid cabler for 15 years, most recently serving as senior VP of event and original programming.

Ron Wechsler has joined NBC Sports Network as veep of original programming. He comes to the Peacock after a decade at ESPN.

Peter Risafi has been tapped veep of brand creative and production at the Food Network and Cooking Channel. Risafi was previously a marketing exec at Comedy Central.

Harish Seth has been tapped chief financial officer for kidvid company A2E2, a joint venture of A Squared Entertainment and Tata Elxsi. Seth is a longtime finance exec with Indian conglom Tata Group. Mary Moore Kean has been named licensing director for A2E2.

Marietta Hurwitz will spearhead the Travel Channel’s digital expansion as senior VP and g.m. of digital. Hurwitz previously worked at Oprah.com.
