Double Olivier-winner Zoe Wanamaker will headline a West End revival of “Passion Play,” Peter Nichols’s 1981 marital comedy of adultery and alter egos, next spring.

Helmed by David Leveaux (“Arcadia,” “Nine”), the production previews from May 1 with a May 7 opening at the Duke of York’s Theater, following touring dates in Richmond and Brighton. The play was last seen in London in 2000 in Michael Grandage’s Donmar Warehouse production.

Passion Play” marks the inaugural production in a new partnership between Tali Pelman Productions and the Ambassador Theater Group. Pelman’s previous productions as in-house producer at ATG include the Olivier award-winning West End and Gotham runs of “The Mountaintop” by Katori Hall and “The Misanthrope,” starring Damian Lewis (“Homeland”) and Keira Knightley.

Further casting and details of the creative team have yet to be announced.
