Susan Stroman, the helmer behind “The Producers” and “The Scottsboro Boys,” has been tapped to direct and choreograph “Bullets Over Broadway,” the upcoming tuner version of the 1994 Woody Allen pic.

“Bullets” is one of several stage projects in the works for Stroman, who’s also attached to developing productions of “Big Fish,” which she’ll direct and choreograph, and “Prince of Broadway,” the Harold Prince bio-tuner that she’ll co-direct (with Prince) and choreograph.

Allen will pen the book for the stage version of “Bullets,” based on the screenplay he co-wrote with Douglas McGrath. Julian Schlossberg and Letty Aronson, whose prior legit producing credits include Allen outings “Relatively Speaking” and “Death Defying Acts,” produce the tuner.

Score will be drawn from pre-existing songs from the 1920s period in which the Gotham-set story takes place. Plot centers on an aspiring playwright and the mobster’s moll who’s starring in his play. Exact song list has yet to be nailed down.

Production targets a Broadway berth in the 2013-14 season, with further production details still to be set.
