SpotCo, the Gotham-based ad agency that’s one of the major players in Broadway advertising and marketing, has laid plans for a staffing shift centered around the June 2013 exit of chief ooperating officer Jim Edwards, to be replaced by Ilene Rosen, currently the company’s associate COO.
In the meantime, joining SpotCo in a week is Sheila Collins, who will top the org’s digital division. She comes off a six-year stint as a senior manager of digital commerce and innovation at American Express.
Edwards plans to leave SpotCo and New York City next year to pursue other interests. His exit will set off a chain of promotions and title changes, with Rosen becoming COO July 1 to run the company with topper Drew Hodges and finance head Brian Berk.
Tom Greenwald, now the exec creative director, will take on the newly minted position of chief strategy officer. Nick Pramik, now the head of the marketing and partnerships division, will be upped to senior veep of strategy.
Kristen Rathbun, meanwhile, will step into Pramik’s old post and current account director Stephen Sosnowski will become director of account services.
Founded in 1996, SpotCo has in more recent years expanded its activities to including interactive, marketing and partnerships and ticket reporting and analysis. Firm’s current Main Stem clients include “Once,” “Evita,” “Chicago” and the upcoming “Cinderella.”
