Imagem Music Group is expanding its US-based theatrical licensing division, R&H Theatricals (a branch of Imagem’s Rodgers and Hammerstein company), to create a European branch with headquarters in the London offices of Imagem U.K.

R&H Theatricals Europe will represent a catalog of Broadway evergreens (“South Pacific,” “Oklahoma!”) and contemporary titles (“The Light in the Piazza”) throughout the U.K. and across the European market.

The Imagem roster, which runs from the Rodgers and Hammerstein titles through to more recent stage properties including “White Christmas,” “Footloose” and “Altar Boyz,” are currently repped in Europe by Josef Weinberger Ltd. The latter will effect the transition alongside incoming managing director Vivien Goodwin, who arrives from the U.K. theatrical licensing house Samuel French.

She will be joined for the first year by Bert Fink of R&H New York in the new business development role as senior veep Europe for Rodgers & Hammerstein.

Ted Chapin, prexy of Rodgers and Hammerstein, said, “As part of a global company, our new London branch will give us the opportunity to reinvigorate our catalog throughout Britain and across the continent.”
