Becky Ann Baker, Peter Friedman, Keith Nobbs and Joyce Van Patten are among the thesps lined up to appear in the world preem of Amy Herzog’s “The Great God Pan” at Off Broadway’s Playwrights Horizons.

Van Patten, last on Broadway in 2011 outing “The People in the Picture,” will replace the previously announced Judith Ivey, who exits the production due to a scheduling conflict, according to reps for the theater. Sarah Goldberg (“Clybourne Park”) and Erin Wilhelmi also will appear in the show alongside Baker (“Good People”), Friedman (“Uncle Vanya”) and Nobbs (“Lombardi”), with further cast members still to be set.

The latest play by Herzog, whose well-received “4,000 Miles” recently played an extended return run at Lincoln Center Theater, “Pan” centers on a man whose life is upended when he discovers a possible childhood trauma.

The 2012-13 season at Playwrights Horizons recently kicked off with preview perfs of “Detroit,” the Lisa D’Amour play toplined in Gotham by David Schwimmer and Amy Ryan. Also on tap are the new musical adaptation of “Far From Heaven,” Samuel D. Hunter’s “The Whale” and world preems from Annie Baker (“The Flick”) and Tanya Barfield (“The Call”).

“Great God Pan,” directed by Carolyn Cantor, begins previews in November ahead of a Dec. 18 opening.
