Nicolas Chartier’s Voltage Pictures has come on to handle worldwide sales for horror pic “Sx_Tape,” which stars Caitlyn Folley (“The FP”), Diana García (“Sin Nombre”) and Ian Duncan.
Directed by “Candyman” helmer Bernard Rose, story finds Folley and Duncan playing a young couple who attempt to spice up their relationship by recording a sex tape in an abandoned mansion. It quickly becomes apparent that they’re not exactly alone in their new ominous surroundings, and their kinky adventure turns into a desperate fight for survival.
Steven Schneider, who produced horror hits “Insidious” and “Paranormal Activity 3,” produced “Sx_Tape,” which is currently in post-production.
Voltage plans to kick off international sales at Cannes where the company will also be screening “Fire with Fire” starring Bruce Willis, Josh Duhamel, Rosario Dawson and Vincent D’Onofrio, as well as Darren Lynn Bousman’s “The Barrens,” starring Stephen Moyer (“True Blood”) and Mia Kirschner (“The Vampire Diaries”).
