Cinedigm Entertainment Group has named Vincent Scordino as VP of theatrical acquisitions.

Scordino was most recently at Millennium where he led negotiations in acquiring films including “Bernie,” “Rampart” and “Little Birds.” Previously, he was an executive at Apparition where he was involved in the acquisition of “The Young Victoria” and “The Square.”

Scordino began his career in acquisitions at Picturehouse after working as an agent at Sandra Marsh Management. He will report to Cinedigm Entertainment Group co-president Susan Margolin.

The company also promoted Emily Rothschild to director of acquisitions and Kristin Harris top director of theatrical acquisitions.

Cinedigm has released close to 200 independent films and alternative content events in recent years, including “Life In A Day,” “The Ward,” “Smell of Success,” “Back & Forth” and “Runnin’ Down A Dream” with Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.
