Content House has launched feature development on a pair of Raffaele Ienco’s titles: the upcoming comic series “Epic Kill” and the graphic novel “Devoid of Life.”
“Epic Kill” is an action-revenge project created, written and drawn by Ienco. Content House will be producing with partners Josh Morris and Mark Saffian exec producing.
Story is centered on hitmen and mercenaries sent to bring down an 18-year-old super assassin avenging her parents’ deaths.
“Epic Kill” will be published by Image Comics on May 2.
“What we really loved was that Raff had created the comic series in the same vein as action revenge films such as ‘Kill Bill’ and ‘The Bourne Identity’ with a very unique protagonist,” Morris said.
Content House is partnering with Mosaic to produce sci-fi horror project “Devoid of Life,” also based on an Image Comics title that Ienco’s created, written and drawn. “Devoid” has been penned by CAA- repped Melinda Hsu Taylor, formerly a producer on “Lost” and the supervising producer on Fox’s “Touch.”
Story takes place following the discovery of a hidden planet in our solar system with a series of horrible deaths occurring at an observatory, leading investigators to a plot that threatens to destroy all human life.
Morris and Saffian are exec producing “Devoid.” Gloria Fan is overseeing for Mosaic.
