Cassi Thomson (“Big Love”), Beau Bridges and Jean Louisa Kelly are rounding out the cast of real-life sports drama “1,000 to 1: The Cory Weissman Story” opposite David Henrie and Hannah Marks.
Produced by Bruce Gordon and Bob Burris, who also wrote the script, “1,000 to 1: The Cory Weissman Story” will be directed by Michael Levine. Arturo Sandoval will compose and record the score.
Weissman, a gifted athlete who starred for his high school’s basketball team, was felled by a stroke. His new dream is to simply appear in one more game at college and hold the ball in his hands one more time, even if it’s just for a few seconds.
Thomas will portray a close friend of Weissman. Bridges will portray his coach and Kelly will portray his mother.
