Sundance Institute has brought in three new members to its board of trustees, including Walt Disney Studios motion picture production prexy Sean Bailey.
Bailey, who oversees all live-action development and production at Disney, has a 20-year history in the industry, having developed and produced with all major TV networks, Universal Pictures and Warner Bros., among others. He is joined by Anand Mahindra, vice chairman and managing director of the Mahindra Group, one of India’s largest corporations, and Jacki Zehner, CEO of philanthropic org Women Moving Millions.
The 23-person board, under the leadership of Sundance prexy and founder Robert Redford and executive director Keri Putnam, governs the fest and strategizes financial and creative support for film and stage artists.
“Sundance Institute is honored to expand our board with the addition of these new trustees, whose vision, creativity and expertise offer us the innovative leadership needed to continue to evolve and develop as a cultural organization,” Putnam said.
