Stealth Media locks in $25 million in financing

Funds go to four films, including 'Marble City' and 'SAS: The Originals'

Stealth Media Group has obtained $25 million in senior and gap production financing for four movies with Michael Mendelsohn’s Union Patriot Capital and Patriot Pictures.

Deal was announced at AFM and includes closing the financing on the $18 million actioner “Marble City,” starring Nicolas Cage.

Coin will also be used for Stealth’s “SAS: The Originals,” about the creation of the British special forces, and “The Fixer,” a British gangster film.

“We are very excited and happy to be in business with Michael Mendelsohn, someone we have known for many years and greatly respect and admire,” said Stealth topper Michael Cowan.

Mendelsohn has arranged more than $1.8 billion in production financing for or produced more than 298 films including “Lord of War,” “Air Force One,” “Underworld,” “Reservoir Dogs” and “Arlington Road.”
