BERLIN — Splendid Film has picked up a slew of international titles for multiple territories, including Robert Rodriguez’s “Sin City 2: A Dame to Kill For” and Michael Shannon starrer “The Iceman.”

The distrib acquired “Sin City 2” for Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the Benelux, and German rights for “Iceman,” Ariel Vromen’s crime thriller about a contract killer, which also stars Chris Evans, James Franco and Winona Ryder.

Splendid likewise took German-speaking and Benelux territory rights to James Franco’s William Faulkner adaptation “As I Lay Dying,” in which Franco stars alongside Tim Blake Nelson and Logan Marshall-Green (“Prometheus”), plus Jim Donovan’s vampire thriller “Fangs of War,” starring Tom Felton and Aiden Gillen (“Game of Thrones”), which sees Jonathan Harker leading a team of Allied commandos into the heart of Nazi-occupied Transylvania to rescue a captured comrade.

Further purchases made at the Toronto Film Festival include Chinese fantasy epic “Painted Skin: The Resurrection,” and Henry Saine’s assassin actioner “Bounty Killer,” starring Matthew Marsden and Kristanna Loken.
