Serendipity Point Films has promoted Mark Musselman, who has overseen the company’s business affairs since 1999, to exec VP.

He will continue to manage Serendipity’s business relations with financial partners, distributors and government agencies.

Aida Tannyan, who has been in charge of finance since 2000, becomes VP of finance and will remain responsible for structuring production financing, as well as the company’s banking, financial planning and cash flows.

Ari Lantos, who joined the company in 2008, becomes VP of production. He has served as producer on the features “Real Time,” “You Might as Well Live” and co-producer on “Barney’s Version,” as well as producing the TV series “Men With Brooms.” He will now have overall responsibility for the development and production of Serendipity’s film and television slate.

Wendy Saffer, who has handled marketing and press relations since its inception in 1998, becomes VP of communications. Ben Murray, who has been with the company since 2007, will take on an increased creative role as director of business affairs and development.

Serendipity Point Films credits include “Barney’s Version,” “Being Julia,” “Eastern Promises” and “Sunshine.”
