Sarah Jessica Parker and Brendan Fraser will topline comedy “Married and Cheating,” with Raymond De Fellita (“City Island”) helming from his own script for Magnet Media Corp.
Pic will shoot between July and September as the first of six films to be financed and produced by a $190 million fund operated by Magnet’s German arm.
Kiefer Sutherland and Eva Longoria are in talks to join the cast.
Producers are Michael London, Lauren Versel, Janice Williams, Magnet Media CEO Jeannette Buerling and Magnet Media production prexy Michelle Ohayon, who oversaw packaging and development with London.
Story follows three couples experiencing infidelity, deceit and confusion.
“Our German fund finances commercial films in the $10 million to $50 million range, to be shot as European co-productions, integrating U.S. entertainment value with European sensibility, both in front and behind the camera,” Buerling said.
Foreign sales for “Cheating” are being handled by Magnet and Ariel Veneziano’s sales outfit Recreation.
