The Palm Springs International ShortFest & Film Market has selected 323 films for its June 19-25 program, including pics starring Judi Dench, Michael Fassbender, Stellan Skarsgard, Octavia Spencer and Julia Louis-Dreyfus.
The 18th iteration of the ShortFest includes 50 world premieres, 63 North American premieres and 21 U.S. premieres, selected from more than 3,000 entries
Lineup includes Christopher Lloyd and Kathy Bates in “Cadaver”; Adam Brody in “Double or Nothing”; Judi Dench and Tom Hiddleston in “Friend Request Pending”; Lauren Ambrose and Hamish Linklater in “I’m Coming Over”; Jacki Weaver in “Lois”; Stellan Skarsgard in “Our Need for Consolation”; Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Rachael Harris in “Picture Paris,” directed by Brad Hall; Michael Fassbender in the “Pitch Black Heist”; Evan Peters in “Queen”; Charlotte Rampling in “The End”; Jason Ritter in “The Five Stages of Grief”; Helena Bonham Carter, Robbie Coltrane and Tom Wilkinson in “The Gruffalo’s Child”; Charles Dance in “The Mapmaker” and Octavia Spencer and Frances Fisher in “The Perfect Fit.”
Other selections include Lily Tomlin, Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Lucy Punch in “The Procession”; Wilmer Valderrama in “Una Hora Por Favor”; Jim Parrack in “Up the Valley and Beyond”; Malcolm McDowell in “No Rest for the Wicked” and Betsy Franco, Dave Franco and Christopher Mintz-Plasse in “Would You.”
Additionally, part of the program will include Shia La Beouf’s “Howard Cantour” and Matthew Modine’s “Jesus Was a Commie.”
