Despite all the flashbulbs, one very important Akiva Schaffer fan had trouble snapping a photo on the packed red carpet for 20th Century Fox’s “The Watch” preem on Monday.

“He’s my son, and I’m trying to get a picture of him!” said the helmer’s mother, standing near the press entrance. The elder Schaffer was later escorted closer to her son, who fielded questions from reporters at the Chinese.

Tom Rothman and Jim Gianopulos attended, along with execs Peter Kang and Jeremy Kramer. Thesps including Ben Stiller, Jonah Hill, Vince Vaughn and Erin Moriarty made their way to the afterparty at the Tropicana, where at least a couple of them put in some schmoozing time before catching flights out to other projects.

Moriarty, who taped her original audition video for the film on her mom’s iPhone during a family trip, had to hop a plane to Ohio, where she’s shooting “Toy’s House” from helmer Jordan Vogt-Roberts.

“I don’t have time to celebrate!” Moriarty said, noting that she at least had the support of two excited girlfriends to help fete the film for one night. “I think it’s hard to find a teenager who’s not a Jonah Hill/Ben Stiller/Vince Vaughn fan!”
