Miramax has boosted its international sales team, hiring Turner Entertainment’s Marna Grantham and former Fox Networks exec Gloria Lee.
Effective immediately, Grantham will take the title of senior VP, domestic and Latin America sales, while Lee will serve as director, digital sales.
Grantham, who formerly served as Turner’s VP of program planning and acquisitions, will oversee Miramax’s TV sales activity in North and Latin America.
Lee will work with global digital providers to license Miramax content, targeting both cloud and locker services. She’ll also oversee the company’s branded distribution content, including Miramax’s Facebook app.
Both execs will work out of Miramax’s Santa Monica offices.
Since new owners purchased the company from Disney in 2010, Miramax’s leadership has said it would try to aggressively license its content across a number of platforms. Company raised $500 million in debt last year, banking most on the projected value of future digital and television licensing agreements.
