Milioti in talks for Scorsese’s ‘Wall Street’

Broadway thesp Cristin Milioti, who recently earned a Tony nomination for her perf in “Once,” is in negotiations to join Leonardo DiCaprio in Martin Scorsese’s “The Wolf of Wall Street.”

Red Granite is financing, and principals Riza Aziz and Joey McFarland will produce along with Scorsese, Emma Tillinger Koskoff, Irwin Winkler, Alexandra Milchan, DiCaprio and his Appian Way partner Jennifer Killoran.

Terence Winter (“The Sopranos”) adapted Jordan Belfort’s memoirs, which chronicle his rise and fall on Wall Street, along with his hard-partying lifestyle and tumultuous personal life.

Jonah Hill, Jean Dujardin and Kyle Chandler will co-star in the pic, which stars DiCaprio as Belfort.

Milioti is in talks to play Belfort’s first wife, an Italian-American hairdresser who is devoted to her husband and heartbroken when he strays outside the marriage.

“The Wolf of Wall Street” starts production later this summer in New York, which will allow Milioti to continue starring in “Once” on Broadway. Thesp has appeared in multiple episodes of “The Sopranos” and will soon be seen in Mike Birbiglia’s “Sleepwalk With Me.”
