Kleintank tells ‘Cory Weissman Story’

Luke Kleintank has joined the cast of “1,000 to 1: The Cory Weissman Story” opposite David Henrie, Hannah Marks, Cassi Thomson, Beau Bridges and Jean Louisa Kelly.

Produced by Bruce Gordon and Bob Burris, who also wrote the script, “1,000 to 1: The Cory Weissman Story” will be directed by Michael Levine.

Weissman, a gifted athlete who starred for his high school’s basketball team, was felled by a stroke. His new dream is to simply appear in one more game at college and hold the ball in his hands one more time.

Kleintank, repped by Innovative and managed by Robert Stein, will portray Weissman’s best friend and teammate.
