Peyton will produce and direct from a script by J. Daniel Shaffer. Andrew Adamson will also produce through his Strange Weather Films shingle.

Mostly known for family fare, Peyton takes his first trip to adult fare with “Invasion,” described as in the vein of “Cloverfield.”
Peyton has stayed busy since directing sequel “Cats and Dogs: Revenge of Kitty Galore.” “Journey 2” comes out next month, and Peyton has also just closed a deal to direct the third installment. He’s also very busy in the TV realm with a handful of projects including a pilot for “Dr. Dimensionpants,” which he created and is exec producing.
