John Goodman, Eric Andre take ‘Internship’

Thesp, comedian join cast of Shawn Levy's Fox comedy

John Goodman and comedian Eric Andre have joined the cast of Shawn Levy’s comedy “The Internship,” which is being produced by Twentieth Century Fox and New Regency.

Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson star as old school salesmen who, finding themselves suddenly unemployed and passed-by in the digital world, try to reinvent themselves by becoming interns at a major tech company despite knowing little about technology.

Goodman will cameo as Vaughn and Wilson’s ultimate boss, while Andre will play an advisor who mentors the duo.

Max Minghella and Rose Byrne co-star alongside Dylan O’Brien, JoAnna Garcia, Josh Brener, Tiya Sircar and Tobit Raphael.

Levy’s 21 Laps Entertainment banner will produce with scribe Vaughn’s Wild West Picture Show Prods. shingle.

Goodman has been as busy as any actor in Hollywood, with roles in Ben Affleck’s “Argo,” Robert Zemeckis’ “Flight,” Robert Lorenz’s baseball drama “Trouble With the Curve” and the Coen brothers’ folk music pic “Inside Llewyn Davis.” Thesp also voices roles in Disney/Pixar’s “Monsters University” and Focus/LAIKA’s “ParaNorman.” Goodman is repped by the Gersh Agency.

Andre, who recently appeared on TBS’ last night show “Conan” and drew a strong showing at Montreal’s Just for Laughs fest, can currently be seen on ABC’s “Don’t Trust the B– in Apt. 23.” Thesp also hosts talk show “The Eric Andre Show” on Adult Swim, which will air the season finale on Sunday night. He’s repped by CAA and Generate Management.
