IGN brings action thriller to START channel

Directed by Benjamin Howdeshell, 'Project: S.E.R.A.' will premiere on Youtube

IGN Entertainment, which is a division of News Corp., is set to bring the digital series “Project: S.E.R.A.” to its YouTube channel START.

The action-thriller series, which wrapped principal photography this past week and is expected to premiere on START in late January, is based on Benjamin Howdeshell’s short film of the same name.

Howdeshell directed the series, which scribes Nathan Miller and Bill Kirchen adapted from the original short.

“Project: S.E.R.A.” follows Gillian Eames (Julia Voth, “Bitch Slap”) and Lt. Riggins (Derek Theler, “Baby Daddy”) as they race against the clock to stop the black market sale of a highly volatile biological agent that was originally designed by the military to expedite the recovery of soldiers wounded on the battlefields of Iraq and Afghanistan.

Series is produced by Shawn Wallace (“The Prototype”) and exec produced by IGN’s Grant Thompson and Bernard Ho.
