Newly minted Iconic Prods. is developing feature film “The Preacher’s Son,” with David Talbert in talks to write and direct.

Iconic, headed by Brittany Cereghino, is planning to shoot in Los Angeles and Atlanta in the third quarter.

Story centers on a young man who ends up having to steal $200,000 from his father’s church and then must rob a number of banks in order to pay back the church before anyone notices the funds are missing.

Matt Nicholas will star in “The Preacher’s Son,” which carries a $12 million budget.

Los Angeles-based Iconic is also planning to go into production this year on reality TV show “The Underdogs,” created by Nicholas and Jillian Fuentes. Cereghino, Nicholas and Judi Bell will exec produce.

Talbert wrote and directed “First Sunday” for Sony and has written numerous plays. He also produced and starred in reality show “Stage Black” for TV One.
