Graphic novelist sells ‘Last Breath’ horror spec

Gitter, Schwerin will produce supernatural Salamoff pic

Best known for his graphic novels, Paul J. Salamoff is venturing further into the world of feature films with the sale of supernatural horror spec “The Last Breath …” to “O” producers Eric Gitter and Peter Schwerin at Chickie the Cop Entertainment.

Pic revolves around the lone survivor of a suicide pact who’s haunted by a vengeful otherwordly entity which demands her death.

Salamoff recently sold comedy spec “Population: ME” to Noel Clarke’s U.K.-based Unstoppable Entertainment.

Next week, the scribe will release “Tales of Discord,” the Kickstarter-funded prequel to the alien graphic novel which Markosia Enterprises published last year. Salamoff also penned a comic book series continuing the story of “Logan’s Run” for Bluewater Prods.

Gitter’s producer credits include “Scott Pilgrim vs the World,” while Schwerin’s include “Scary Movie” and “Scary Movie 2.”

Kailey Marsh at Station3 reps Salamoff.
