Fimmel, Winnick set sail on ‘Vikings’

Thesps set to star in History Channel series

Travis Fimmel and Katheryn Winnick are set to star in the History Channel series “Vikings.”

The series also stars Gabriel Byrne, Jessalyn Gilsig and Clive Standen.

The series will follow Viking leader Ragnar Lothbrok, his band of Viking brothers and his family as he rises to become King of the Viking tribes.

Fimmel will play Lothbrok and Winnick will play his first wife and mother to his two children

Fimmel can be seen next in “Baytown Outlaws” and just wrapped production on “Harodim.” Winnick has a handful of films that just wrapped including “Stand-Up Guys” and “A Glimpse Inside the Mind of Charles Swan III.”

Fimmel is repped by Paradigm, Management 360 and AJ Brandenstein and Winnick is repped by Gersh, Alchemy Entertainment and attorney Jeff Bernstein.
