Lionsgate’s L.A. preem for “What to Expect When You’re Expecting” was predictably pregnant with celebs. Director Kirk Jones acknowledged his star-studded ensemble, kicking off the May 14 screening with an intro from the stage of the Chinese Theater: “I know you want to see the huge cast, so unlike pregnancy and giving birth to a baby, I’d like to keep this short and painless.”

While Jennifer Lopez and Cameron Diaz didn’t stick around for the Roosevelt Hotel afterparty, several stars mingled, including Brooklyn Decker, Anna Kendrick, Rodrigo Santoro, Rebel Wilson and Mimi Gianopulos, whose father, Jim Gianopulos, was on hand to support her bigscreen debut.

Star Elizabeth Banks said the bestselling book on which the pic is based is an important read for parents.

“It’s all normal. Other people are going through this. Don’t freak out,” she advised. Otherwise, “I try not to give advice to anyone, ever, other than like, ‘Of course you’re going to look the same after!’ Wink, wink!”
