Twentieth Century Fox production prexy Emma Watts has reupped her contract with the studio through 2015.
Watt was upped to the prexy post in 2009. She’s overseen a number of high-profile pics including “Rise of the Planet of the Apes,” “We Bought a Zoo” and “Date Night” from helmer Shawn Levy. Watts is credited with helping to bring the prolific Levy into the Fox fold, having overseen the first installment of his “Night at the Museum” series. Since then, Levy has made more than $1 billion dollars for the studio. Levy’s 21 Laps banner is now based at Fox.
Watts first joined Fox in 1998 as a creative exec. She began her career at Def Pictures before becoming a director of development for Oliver Stone.
