Timothy Spall and Celia Imrie have joined the cast of romantic comedy “Love Punch,” starring Emma Thompson and Pierce Brosnan.
Process Media’s Tim Perell and Nicola Usborne are producing with Radar Film’s Clement Miserez and Love Punch Limited’s Jean-Charles Levy. SND is co-producing, financing and handling worldwide distribution.
“Love Punch” is written and directed by Joel Hopkins (“Last Chance Harvey”), with filming under way in Paris and the French Riviera. Story follows a divorced couple whose pension is stolen by an unscrupulous businessman and reunite to steal it back.
Previously announced cast members include Louise Bourgoin, Laurent Lafitte and Olivier Chantreau.
Spall was last seen in “The King’s Speech.” Imrie appears in “The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel.”
