Dean Norris on lam with Ridley Scott

'Breaking Bad' thesp to star in 'Counselor'

“Breaking Bad” thesp Dean Norris has boarded Ridley Scott’s “The Counselor,” joining Michael Fassbender, Brad Pitt, Cameron Diaz, Javier Bardem and Penelope Cruz.

Hot off her turn in “The Dark Knight Rises,” young thesp Joey King has been tapped to play Channing Tatum’s daughter in Sony’s action drama “White House Down.”

Cormac McCarthy penned the script, about a lawyer who attempts to get into the drug business. Fox will distribute with Scott, Steve Schwartz, Nick Wechsler and Paula Mae Schwartz producing for Scott Free and Chockstone Pictures.

After the current season of “Breaking Bad,” the Industry Entertainment-repped Norris can be seen next in the thriller “The Frozen Ground” with Nicolas Cage and John Cusack.
