The Tokyo Film Festival has selected Warner Bros.’ “The Trouble with the Curve” as its closing night film.

Story centers on an aging baseball scout, to be played by Clint Eastwood, who’s losing his sight and decides to take a road trip to Atlanta with his daughter to check out a hot prospect. Amy Adams will portray the daughter and Robert Lorenz, Eastwood’s Malpaso partner, will make his directorial debut, with Malpaso producing.

The fest had selected “Cirque du Soleil: Worlds Away” as its opening pic.

The 25th edition of the fest will take place Oct. 20-28 at the Roppongi Hills complex and other Tokyo venues.
