Elisabeth Costa de Beauregard Rose will join Nicolas Chartier’s Voltage Pictures as the company’s new president of international sales and distribution.
Exec most recently served as exec VP at Lakeshore Entertainment, where she oversaw sales of pics including “Million Dollar Baby,” “The Lincoln Lawyer” and the “Underworld” franchise. She joined the company in 1999.
“I’ve known Elisabeth for over 10 years, and I am thrilled to have someone of her caliber join us as the company grows and expands,” said Chartier in a statement. “She has impeccable taste and is a seasoned leader.”
Costa de Beauregard Rose will team with Chartier to oversee distribution for inhouse financed movies and acquisitions. Voltage, an international sales and financing shingle, most recently shopped a hefty Cannes slate that included Nick Cassavetes’ “Cali,” Cuba Gooding Jr. starrer “Deception” and “Sx_Tape” from “Paranormal Activity 3” producer Steven Schneider.
Voltage, an international sales and financing shingle, is currently gearing up for the Toronto Film Festivalo, where it will preem Robert Redford’s “The Company You Keep” and “Thanks for Sharing,” starring Mark Ruffalo and Gwyneth Paltrow.
