Lisa Cholodenko, Nicole Holofcener and Kimberly Peirce are among the alums who will participate in events during the 25th annual Columbia U. Film Festival, the academic institution’s annual showcase of student work.

Film Society of Lincoln Center will team with the Columbia U. School of the Arts film program to present the fest, which this year also includes L.A. events.

Cholodenko, Holofcener, Peirce and Larysa Kondracki (“The Whistleblower”) are on tap for a panel focused on the notable successful of Columbia’s film alumnae. Another alum, screenwriter Malia Scotch Marmo (“Hook,” the upcoming “Rafina”), is on tap to receive the Andrew Sarris Award.

Fest’s opening-night offering, to screen in Alice Tully Hall (the venue where New York Film Festival pics play), is a collection of short student films by alumni including Greg Mottola and Adam Davidson.

Festival runs May 4-10 in Gotham, with June events in L.A. still to be set.
