Michelle Pfeiffer and Dwayne Johnson will collect kudos at CinemaCon’s annual kudofest, held April 26 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.

Pfeiffer has been tapped to receive the exhibber confab’s Cinema Icon Award, while Johnson will be feted with its Action Star of the Year Award.

CinemaCon managing director Mitch Neuhauser said of Pfeiffer: “In a remarkable career spanning more than three decades … she has proven time and time again that she can tackle any role and make it her own.”

He said of Johnson: “He thrills audiences around the world with exhilarating performances that leave them on the edge of their seats.”

Pfeiffer appears this year in Warner Bros.’ “Dark Shadows” and “People Like Us,” from DreamWorks; Johnson recently starred in WB-New Line’s family actioner “Journey 2: The Mysterious Island,” with Paramount’s “G.I. Joe: Retaliation” up next.

CinemaCon, hosted by the National Assn. of Theater Owners, runs April 23-26.
