Chloe Grace Moretz will receive the CinemaCon Female Star of Tomorrow Award, Managing Director Mitch Neuhauser announced on Tuesday. Thesp will be feted at the Big Screen Achivements Awards ceremony in Las Vegas on April 26.
Moretz will next be seen alongside Johnny Depp and Michelle Pfeiffer in Warner Bros. and Village Roadshow’s “Dark Shadows,” which opens on May 11. Recent creds include “Texas Killing Fields” and Martin Scorsese’s “Hugo.”
“With the poise and talent of a seasoned veteran, Chloe Grace Moretz has captivated the attention of the movie-going public since the age of five with an array of diverse and challenging movie roles,” Neuhauser said.
CinemaCon will take place April 23 to 26 at Caesars Palace. Confab will feature product presentations and premiere screenings.
The trade org NATO represents more than 30,000 movie screens in all 50 states and additional theaters in 50 countries.
