Brittany Murphy pic ‘Something Wicked’ finally completed

Film up for sale three years after actress's death

Brittany Murphy’s last film, “Something Wicked,” has completed post production and is up for sale to distributors, three years after her death.

Brillstein Entertainment Partners is representing the worldwide rights.

Murphy passed away at the age of 32 in December, 2009, around the same time that the thriller completed shooting, resulting in a delay in post-production. “Something Wicked” stars Shantel VanSanten (“One Tree Hill”), Julian Morris (“Valkyrie”), John Robinson (“Elephant,” “Lords of Dogtown”), James Patrick Stuart (“Supernatural”) and Angelique Perrin.

“Something Wicked” is a Merchant Films production, directed by Darrin Scott, written and produced by Joe Colleran. Story centers on VanSanten’s character being stalked by a tormented young man.
