ATO Pictures has acquired North American rights to ”Shadow Dancer,” James Marsh’s third film to premiere at Sundance.
Story centers on a woman forced to betray loved ones to protect her son. Andrea Riseborough and Clive Owen star in the film by Marsh (”Project Nim,” ”Man on Wire”). Gillian Anderson, Aidan Gillen and Domhnall Gleeson also star.
Pic is based on the novel by Tom Bradby, who also penned the script.
Sale was repped by CAA and ATO acquisitions head Sarah Lash.
