Anthony picks up ‘Baggage’

Thesp joins cast of Fox Searchlight's romantic comedy

La La Anthony has joined the cast of Fox Searchlight’s romantic comedy “Baggage Claim” opposite Paula Patton, Derek Luke and Adam Brody.

David E. Talbert (“First Sunday”) is writing, directing and producing the adaptation of his novel. Patton stars as an unmarried flight attendant who becomes determined to find a man as her younger sister’s wedding approaches. Anthony portrays Patton’s energetic co-worker and accomplice.

Anthony is currently filming the third season of her show “La La’s Full Court Life,” which will premiere this winter on VH1. She also appeared in the feature “Think Like a Man” and guest-starred this summer on the CBS crime drama “NYC 22.”

Anthony is repped by APA, Jen Merlino and Stephanie Simon at Untitled, and Sean Marks at Myman, Greenspan.
