LONDON — Juno Temple has joined Alexandra Roach in the cast of “Girls Night Out,” which HanWay Films is shopping to buyers at Berlin next week.

The romantic fairytale, which is produced by Ecosse Films, is set to be directed by Michael Hoffman (“Gambit,” “The Last Station”), from a script by Trevor De Silva.

Story, inspired by true events, is set on V.E. Day in 1945, where the British princesses Elizabeth (Roach) and Margaret (Temple) are allowed out from Buckingham Palace for one night to join in the celebrations of the end of WWII.

Temple will replace Dakota Fanning, who was previously announced for the role of Princess Margaret.

Roach was recently seen playing the young Margaret Thatcher in “The Iron Lady,” and has just finished filming “Anna Karenina.”

Temple can next be seen in Christopher Nolan’s “The Dark Knight Rises.”

Lionsgate U.K. has already taken rights for “Girls Night Out” in Blighty.

Production on the project is expected to begin in the autumn.
