Myriad handles international on ‘Nobody’

Company to screen pic for buyers at European Film Market

Myriad Pictures will handle international rights to Ry Russo-Young’s “Nobody Walks,” which screened in competition at Sundance.

Myriad will screen the film for international buyers next week at the European Film Market in Berlin.

Magnolia acquired U.S. rights to “Nobody Walks” during Sundance.

The film stars John Krasinski, Olivia Thirlby, Rosemarie DeWitt, Dylan McDermott and Justin Kirk. Pic’s produced by Jonathan Schwartz and Andrea Sperling, of Super Crispy Entertainment, who were honored at Sundance with a special jury prize for independent film producing for “Smashed” and “Nobody Walks.”

Pic explores a married couple’s commitment to themselves and their family when an art student rents and moves into their back house. Script was co-written by Russo-Young and Lena Dunham.

Deal was negotiated by Kirk D’Amico for Myriad, and Schwartz and Lawrence Kopeikin for the producers.
