Image Entertainment has acquired all U.S. rights to action-thiller “The Devil’s in the Details,” starring Ray Liotta, Emilio Rivera (“Act of Valor”), Lane Garrison and Joel Mathews.
Deal, announced Thursday at Cannes, covers theatrical, home entertainment, digital, VOD and broadcast.
Pic has just wrapped principal photography. Waymon Boone directed from his own script in his feature debut.
Liotta stars as a physiatrist caught in the middle of a deadly Mexican drug war.
Pic is produced by Dark Details, Boone, Cesar Villacis De Lucia and Justin Finney. Benjamin F. Sacks and Bryan Sexton are executive producing.
The deal was negotiated by Bill Bromiley and Mark Ward for Image Entertainment and by Doran Chandler on behalf of Dark Details.
Epic Pictures Group’s Patrick Ewald and Shaked Berenson will handle foreign sales.
