Exclusive Media is launching a U.S. distribution and acquisitions arm dubbed Exclusive Releasing.

Scott Pascucci is president and chief operating office of the newly minted operation, while Matt Brodlie is head of acquisitions.

Exclusive Releasing plans to theatrically distribute three to four wide and platform releases per year. Those will include some Exclusive Media-produced films as well as third-party titles. The new unit also plans to acquire films for accelerated-window and VOD release along with developing and acquiring alternative content such as concert films and music docs.

Pascucci most recently served as exec producer for Martin Scorsese’s documentary feature “George Harrison: Living in the Material World.” He was president of Rhino Entertainment, a division of Warner Music Group, from 2001-10.

Brodlie most recently ran Paramount’s worldwide acquisitions group, overseeing acquisitions that included “Like Crazy” and “The Devil Inside.”

“The launch of Exclusive Releasing is the exciting and logical next step for Exclusive Media to be involved in all aspects of the filmmaking and distribution of our movies from development through production and into theaters,” said Exclusive Media co-chairs Guy East and Nigel Sinclair.

Exclusive Media will premiere a trio of titles at Toronto: “End of Watch,” “At Any Price” and “Disconnect.”
