Garrett Hedlund, Richard Jenkins, Jessica Brown Findlay, Jennifer Hudson, Terrence Howard and Amy Adams have come on board Andrew Levitas’ comedy-drama “Lullaby.”
Cast was announced Saturday in Cannes by producers Andrea Stone-Brokaw of Ananta Prods. and Cary Brokaw of Avenue Pictures along with Radiant Films topper Mimi Steinbauer. Radiant is offering the film to international buyers at the market.
Media House Capital and Three Point Capital are co-financing the film. Aaron L. Gilbert is exec producing and Patrick Murray is co-exec producing.
Levitas will direct from his own script and is set to start shooting in June in New York City. The producers are in discussion with several distributors for North American rights.
Story centers on a man estranged from his family, who receives word that his ill father has chosen to take himself off life support in less than 48 hours. Hedlund and Jenkins will portray the son and father.
Levitas, a well-known artist and photographer, produced the Fox Searchlight release “The Art of Getting By,” which debuted last year at Sundance.
Findlay stars in “Downton Abbey” and Hudson will be seen in the upcoming “Winnie.” Adams’ upcoming films include “Trouble With the Curve,” “The Master” and “Man of Steel.”
