Veteran publicist and awards strategist Tony Angellotti, who led the Oscar campaign charge for Universal’s “Bridesmaids,” earned the Les Mason Award, the highest honor publicists give to their peers.
Other honorees include Press Award winner Susan King of the Los Angeles Times; International Media Award winner Elaine Lipworth of the United Kingdom; Excellence in Unit Still Photography Award recipients Frank Masi (film) and Hopper Stone (TV); and Warner Bros. publicist Sharon Black, who received the Bob Yeager Award in recognition of her work on behalf of animals.
